Teocalli, one of the major peaks in here in CB, is also one that I had not yet summited this season. Considering it is the first week of December, it should be inaccessible on foot at this time of year. Fortunately (or unfortunately, depending on how you look at it) for us, there is very little snow. So little, that when we reached the summit there was only a few inches of snow. Not even a cornice!! Now, I have said this many times already this season, but I have to say it again... It is calling for snow this weekend, so.. this might be the last walk/run up summit of the year.
I won't go into much detail about his run/hike, other than we rode about 8 miles out to West Brush Creek, stashed out bikes, ran/hiked up Teo Ridge, summited, then bushwhacked down to the trail and came back via Middle Brush Creek, before cycling home. The run/hike portion was just over 12.5 miles with nearly 4,500 ft of elevation gain. This trip was good for summit number 39, and 26th unique peak of the year.
