This week was going very well until Saturday. Each day during the week I got up and ran before work, which I usually try to get in about 10 miles. I had to replace my headlamp batteries twice. The time change is going to make running in the AM much nicer next week with the sun rising around 6:20 AM though. I'm definitely excited for that
I was hoping to do a little more mountain biking, but I did get my cross bike out and rode to Gunny after work on Wednesday. It was in the mid 50's and with it being the last day of October, I could not pass up a chance to get in another ride. I doubt I will be able to ride during the week anymore though, the time changes tomorrow and it will be dark soon after I get off work.
As for Saturday, I had planned on doing a solid long run and finishing with a peak, but after waking up to a brisk 12 degree morning, and getting into some other work that I have been putting off lately, I decided it might be nice to just have a rest day.
Next week I plan to have a similar schedule and hopefully will be back above 80 mpw. The weather looks like it is going to be warm again, 50's, so it would be nice to get the bikes out some more before winter finally arrives if I can get out of work early at all. I will also have 3 more ski conditioning classes to attend, so it should be a good week!
