Training Recap: October 13 - 19

Sunday:
  • (PM) Run: 10.97 Mi - 1,400' - 1:30 - Easy: Fun run with Pat. Lower Lower to Lupine then down the main road in the dark. Storm was rolling in as we were finishing.
Monday:
  • (PM) Run: 15.09 Mi - 1,400' - 1:48 - Track: Second track workout in 3 years... Had to get some dust out of the legs. Mile repeats at 7,800' in Gunnison. Lungs were fine, legs need to get used to running fast again. Splits: 5:34, 5:38, 5:38, 5:36, 4:41. 
Tuesday:
  • (PM) Run: 10.04 Mi - 1,100' - 1:32 - Easy: Easy lap on the Lower Loop. Legs felt a little tired from yesterday's workout, but not sore. About 4-5 inches of snow back in the pines near the falls. 
Wednesday:
  • (PM) Run: 10.01 Mi - 1,100' - 1:39 - Easy: Upper Loop via Deli trail... didn't really feel motivated today, had to force myself to get the run done. Gotta figure out whats causing this, its starting tog get old.
Thursday:
  • (AM) Run: 22.29 Mi - 3,600' - 3:00 - Long: Solid run at Hartman's with Dustin. Left hip/hamstring was a bit tight after 10, but not too bad. 
Friday:
  • (AM) Run: 12.31 Mi - 1,600' - 1:32 - Moderate: In boulder for about a week to run some "dry" trails and have people to train with and see if it helps get me out of this funk. Legs felt descent once they warmed up. Some muddy trails, some pavement. 
Saturday:
  • (AM) Run: 10.57 Mi - 2,000' - 1:39 - Long: Met up with Trent & Phil. Up the back side of Sanitas and down Dakota Ridge. Left hamstring was tight up high.
