Summary: Finally.. getting my legs back. Wednesday I was still feeling sluggish on small climbs but was able to get in over 20 and by the weekend I was able to spend over 8 hrs in the mountains with Trent Briney & Sage Canaday. It feels good to get up high in the Rockies again, and bagged two more peaks this week, Green Mtn in Boulder and Mt Audubon just outside of Nederland. That puts me at 6 different peaks for the year, and with summer just about here, I am well on my way towards my goal of 100. I feel like my legs are back to about 80%, which is much improved after last week. Quad Rock definitely took its toll. With only 4 weeks until San Juan Solstice 50, I need to get after it again. Putting up some larger volume and definitely some more vertical over the next 3 weeks. It's peak bagging time!!

Hi Josh,
We met last year at Cascade Crest and I am your VFuel team mate. You are killing it this year and putting a hurting on the Colorado scene. I've followed your training and it looks consistent and strong. Interested to see how San Juan, Leadville and UROC goes for you.
With San Juan in mind (June 22), any chance you will be around Western States the week after on June 29? I'm trying to assemble a team and I have no pacer and just my wife for crew. I figure you will be running this one soon enough and maybe you might want to see some miles (up to 38?) with me? I don't know many runners who might be able to run with me, so I would be interested in any recommendations you might have. Do you know if VFuel will have anyone else out there running or spectating?
Best wishes,
Jeremy

I'm actually already pacing someone at WS100, my buddy Trent Briney. Otherwise I would for sure. I'm not sure if any of the other VFuel guys will be out there. Talk to Michael or Alan, they would probably know. If I hear of anyone who might be interested in pacing (and are able to keep up), I will let you know. Good luck, and see you out there!

Cool...Trent will be in the thick of the action, so you should get a good show. I'll see you out there.
