Summary: After racing on Saturday of last week, my legs recovered very well. I had a little bit of soreness early in the week, but by Thursday was feeling pretty good. Then on Friday afternoon, I got a call from a friend of mine who was going to be heading to the Grand Canyon for a little R2R2R action on Sunday, and asked if I wanted to join... WHY WOULD'NT I? So instead of a long run on Saturday, I opted for an easy run then a road trip to AZ. In all this week I enjoyed a mellow 90 mile recovery week, got to take my road bike out for the first time this year, and also spent time skiing with the CB elementary and leading a snowshoe tour. Next week will start with a big run in the Grand Canyon, and then I plan on taking a few days to get my legs fully recovered and back into my normal routine. Feeling good, but ready for some spring trails & warmer temps.
