Probably the easiest week I have had without it being a race week this entire year. My legs were feeling tired the past week or two and I wanted to let them recover before beginning a full taper for my next race which is now just a week away. I think it is helping, since the climbs are starting to be more enjoyable again and I am starting to get the itch to race. As much as I like that feeling, it is also hard to hold back and not head into the mountains with fresh legs. Especially since they are starting to thaw out from winter's longstanding grasp. Soon.. very soon. For now though, its 100% race focus.
