Summary: Another solid week of building up the volume gradually. My long run is nearing the 20 mile mark again, I actually got out and skate skied a few days this week, and I even competed in a snowshoe race. The Colorado Snowshoe Championships 10k. It was my first time ever running in snowshoes, but I still managed to place 2nd. Check out my race report here. Next week should look very similar with one noticeable difference.. core/strength training. I have been slacking lately and need to get back on track. Other than that, I should be nearing 75 miles running, hopefully get out for some good skates in preparation for the Alley Loop 42k skate race in 2 weeks, and now that I have my snowshoes, try to gain more experience with them.
