Summary: First Century of the year! Barely cracked a 100 mile week, which actually surprised me since I had a couple days in there that were very small. The week started out with my right leg having some tightness behind the knee from a snowshoe tour which I gave last Saturday, that quickly went away, and by the end of the week, I enjoyed my longest run of 2013. For the long run, I hitched down to Salida on Friday, crashed at a friends house, then went out and ran the marathon course that I will be racing on in exactly 2 weeks. With a small add on, I finished out 4.5 hrs, 28+ miles, and felt as if I could have easily done another hour. I have been craving some dry single-track  and a much needed break from the every day grind up here in winter wonderland. The 24 hour vacation gave me time to catch up on some sleep, and get my dry trail fix.
