Summary: Second week on the road and my legs are feeling it. I spent Thursday & Friday night just trying to find places to sleep and having long days hitch hiking. That on top of my legs being a bit beat up from the past two weeks training made the race on Saturday a bit rough. My right hip flexor / groin felt tight the entire race (which might have been aggravated by the 1.3 mile sprint at the start - which at least put $100 in my pocket). Needless to say, I need to fine tune my schedule and try to gain some consistency im my day to day on the road. Next week I will probably back off my training for a bit and make sure the hip flexor/groin get back to 100%. Headed to SLC for the week, warmer weather and less travel will be much appreciated!
