It was a long day, both on and off trail but my buddy Nate & I covered a good chunk of ground (27.2 miles to be exact) and even bagged a peak. Weather kept us from executing our original plan of going to Pierre Lakes and possibly linking up Capitol, but we did get on top of Snowmass Mountain (14,092 ft) and enjoyed the beauty of Geneva Lake and Snowmass Lake. The wildflowers up in Hasley Basin are also the best in the area right now. Get up there soon before they are gone. These photos are for your enjoyment, thanks for visiting my blog, and please share this post and any others you deem worthy. Run Pure!
